Expertise in molecular brain imaging
BrainDx brings together specialist clinical interpretation, education and the development of new ways to improve and share expertise in brain imaging.

About Cecile de Pont
Nuclear medicine physician
Cecile de Pont is a nuclear medicine physician with extensive experience in clinical nuclear medicine and a particular focus on molecular brain imaging and neurodegenerative disease.
Her work in brain FDG-PET encompasses clinical reporting and consultation, education of healthcare professionals, and collaboration on research and innovation.
A major area of interest is the interpretation of complex and atypical neurodegenerative presentations, where metabolic imaging can contribute information when structural imaging is limited or non-specific, or where the clinical differential diagnosis remains broad.
Why BrainDx
Sharing specialist expertise beyond a single institution
BrainDx was created around the idea that specialist expertise in brain FDG-PET can be shared beyond the boundaries of a single institution.
Today, this includes expert reporting and consultation for hospitals as well as education for healthcare professionals. BrainDx also aims to contribute to wider collaboration through harmonisation of imaging and interpretation, development and sharing of expertise, and research into how molecular imaging can be used most effectively in neurodegenerative disease.
